Biography | Leonora Neary
Based between Roscommon and Sligo, my practice focuses on the emotional and ethereal planes of landscape. Primarily a visual artist, in recent years my work has expanded to encompass music, sound and moving image.
Recent work includes audio visual pieces, 'by water' (2024) and 'A Sleep and a Forgetting' (2023).
A graduate of the University of Ulster in Belfast, I have been the recipient of multiple residencies (Cill Rialaig, Tyrone Guthrie Centre) and funding awards from local arts services, Creative Ireland, Culture Ireland and Arts Council Ireland.
